Mujina: Right.
Onija: Well, he can't hold his booze, this guy.
Gauma: Then why'd he stay around so long? Should've gone home early if he knew he'd be knocked out like this.
Mujina: C'mon, you gotta understand him.
*pause*
Gauma: Uh, what?
Onija: Dude, seriously?
Gauma: What're you talkin' about?
Mujina: He respects you, what else?
Gauma: ME!?
Mujina: Mm-hm.
Onija: He'd always follow you wherever you'd go! Like a sticky piece of shit! And speaking of which... I gotta go unload!
Mujina: Yeah, yeah.
Sizumu: Onija, there's a ramp over there, so watch your step.
Onija: Where?
Sizumu: In front of the restroom.
Onija: Gotcha.
*Onija walks away while humming, then trips*
Sizumu: Told you...
Onija: Ow... why's there a ramp here!? Dammit!
Gauma: Now that y'all mentioned it... Juuga does follow me around sometimes.
Mujina: You really never noticed that?
Gauma: Yeah.
Mujina: You should start noticing him a bit. He respects you, after all.
Gauma: Why do I have to? What a drag... I don't like when people look at my face so much. And besides, he can be so weirdly stubborn about some things...
Mujina: Heh, I kinda get that.
Gauma: Who would've known that the most serious guy was secretly the most extreme one?
Sizumu: I'd say Juuga is still lacking in skill as a Kaiju user.
Gauma: You gotta go there, huh...
Mujina: Sizumu, you don't wanna refill your cup?
Sizumu: No, I'm good.
Mujina: You haven't eaten all that much today.
Sizumu: Just your imagination.
Gauma: You on a diet or what?
Sizumu: Yeah, I'll roll with that.
Juuga: Ngh...
Mujina: Oh, he's awake.
Juuga: Apologies... huh?
Mujina: You've been out for about 30 minutes. Need some water?
Juuga: Ah... Thank you.
Gauma: You okay, man? Wanna go home?
Juuga: No, I'm alright.
Sizumu: Oh, Onija's back.
*Onija trips*
Onija: Dammit!
Mujina: Watch your step!
Onija: Gah, couldn't get it out at all...
Juuga: Get what out?
Mujina: Nope, don't ask.
Onija: So you up now, Juuga?
Juuga: Sorry. Looks like I've dozed off for a while.
Gauma: Because you've had too much to drink, I bet.
Onija: Hah, wouldn't blame him for lettin' loose today though!
Juuga: Yes. The Princess just got to see the Kaiju for herself, after all.
Mujina: And she had nice things to say about them, too -- way better than I expected.
Sizumu: The Kaiju do play a part in bringing the Country to prosperity. Her Highness must've been impressed. There's no other country that has prospered through Kaiju, after all.
Onija: From what I've heard, we Kaiju users are feared as a clan of Dragon controllers by the other countries.
Mujina: A clan, huh?
Gauma: It's just our job, though...
Juuga: A praiseworthy job, useful to the Country and the people.
Gauma: Praiseworthy, huh?
Juuga: Yes. Especially you, Gauma-san.
Gauma: Uh...
Juuga: Huh? ...What is it?
Mujina: Oh c'mon...
Juuga: Uh... Did I say something weird?
Gauma: You're always weird, man.
Juuga: W-wh-why!? I may have said some things out of left field sometimes, but...
Gauma: Not just sometimes! You always do!
Juuga: Come on, give me a break!
Gauma: That's how you always are! Juuga... you always... got stuff for me to thank for...
Juuga: Huh? Why say that all of a sudden?
Gauma: I just said what came up in my mind!
Juuga: I'm... going to the restroom. Excuse me.
Sizumu: Juuga, there's a ramp over there, so watch your step.
Juuga: I will.
*Juuga walks away, then trips*
Onija: Now that's some epic fall!
Gauma: You alright, man?
Juuga: My eyesight has been getting worse lately... But I'm alright!
Mujina: He was real embarrassed there.
Gauma: All because I said the wrong thing...
Onija: Anyway... it's back to our job tomorrow, huh?
Mujina: A praiseworthy job, useful to the Country and the people, right?
Onija: Yeah, yeah, sure is. We gotta be up early tomorrow, too... wonder if I'll get up in time.
Mujina: Same. I'd like it if we had a bit more freedom.
Sizumu: Actually...
Mujina: What?
Sizumu: So long as we have the Kaiju, we could be free, without having to follow anyone's command.
Gauma: Don't bring up that kinda dangerous talk, man.
Sizumu: Just kidding.
Onija: Let's call it a night when Juuga comes back!
Gauma: Yeah.

ReplyDeleteOh, so that's why Juuga used glasses, the problem of living in the past is that there's no optometrists to help you! And Onija probably just tripped because drunkness
ReplyDeleteKaiju users being called Dragon controllers is align with gaumas backstory from the 90s show. I initially thought he had a different power
ReplyDeleteDang it looks like Gauma was really respected a long time ago, now Im just wondering what made them decide to yse kaiju to destroy all of humanity, was it bcs Gauma betrayed them or did Gauma betray them bcs of that, in my headcanon I think its bcs the country they were protecting tried to kill them or smthn bcs thats what they said in the backstory but im not entirely sure.

so they decided to kill them
then the Kaiju User decided to fight the country
Gauma who fell in love with the princess and became her lover, choose to side with the country and kill his former friend instead and die when doing that
the princess then killed herself, wishing to reunited with Gauma in afterlife
